- Made a new deck based on our experience with playing Mille Bornes
- Modified the rules to differ ours from Mille Bornes
- No need for a "Roll!" card after certain diseases
- Diseases have different effects: Stopping movement, movement limitation, losing a turn, removing highest mileage card
- Added new cards:
- Doctor: Cures anything.
- Flash Flood: Clears away any disease and prevention in front of the selected player.
We also have several new ideas after a playtest with the class:
- Discard some amount of extra cures to move forward a small amount
- Add more to the theme - Nutrition, Heat Stroke, Food that benefits the next move, etc.
- One thing that doesn't make sense in the context is discarding highest mileage card - why moving backward?
- Mayhaps for going back for hospital?
- "Hospical Stay" card sounds like it should lose a turn
- A common feedback is they felt like they were stuck in one place for too long
